Don’t get us wrong – at Reclaimed we think modern digital technologies and the benefits they bring are a good thing. (After all, here we all are on this fabulous inter-web-what-not…). Our true passion though lies in another era. A more analogue technological time when thermionic valves glowed, and individual transistors performed miracles by bullying electrons around. Stuff was designed by engineers not computers, and built by people not robots. (Not that there’s anything wrong with robots…)
We reckon gear that’s survived the ravages of decades deserves to be lovingly coaxed back to life so it can bring joy to a whole new generation. Gear that was made in factories here (yes kids, we once had such things!), and overseas. Gear that ranges from simple radios right through to high-end Hi Fidelity products, and everything in between. Some of it carrying internationally known brand names, some of it with names that were only known here or in NZ, and some of carrying names that only ever existed as a badge.
In addition to offering restored product we also offer some accessories, spare parts, and, from time to time some custom made goodies. We also have a presence (with some of our offered items available for sale) at the fabulous Camp Hill Antique Centre - well worth a visit all on it's own. 545 Old Cleveland Rd Camp Hill, open 7 days a week.
Additionally, we have a small display space at Empire Revival (again, a "must visit" Brisbane destination) at 167 Latrobe Terrace Paddington.

All products and refurbished electronics restored by Reclaimed Audio are sold with a warranty* for your peace of mind. We're also happy to provide back-up - if you're unsure of how to work an unfamiliar technology, or need some advice with hook up etc. for your vintage hifi or stereo etc. just ask.
Of course any new products sold are covered by manufacturer's warranty.

*The consumer guarantees given by Australian Consumer Law will be recognised by us in accordance with that Law. On the rare occasion something goes wrong with one of our restored products our normal course of action is to assess and repair.

Please bear in mind though that we thoroughly refurbish and restore every single item we sell, so put the same hours of effort into an item that comes to us "working" as we would to one that comes to us "broken". You'd understand that a price we offer you reflects that, so please don't be offended when we can't offer you retail type pricing. Send us a message, there's no harm in asking. (Of course selling to us means you avoid the nightmare of hagglers, "pich'n'choosers", no-shows and worse that haunt theworld of online marketplaces!)
UPDATED 2021 - At this stage we are NOT able to take on any outside repairs sorry. We know that it's difficult to find people skilled in old school electronics, so we always tried to help (see text below). However, our attempts to assist quickly became a nightmare... on multiple occasions we would take on a repair, and make people aware "face to face" that the wait would be long, to which they invariably agreed. On multiple occasions those very same people would then start phoning our office only a few weeks later to "see how things were going", then would call back over and over. The situation became untenable, so until further notice we are unable to assist. Sorry. (Original text below.) As an aside, we are often happy to give a trade-in value for faulty goods.
We may be able to assist with servicing or repairing classic and vintage electronics / vintage hifi / stereo gear , but currently have a long backlog. Don’t get us wrong… we’re all for technology (including AI), and, we’re all for it freeing people from mundane tasks. But, our entire business model is based on the results of human skillsets and human creativity, and that’s the way we intend to stay. We write our own product descriptions, any photos on the website of gear we’ve restored are photos of the actual item offered, and you can peruse the site without having your intelligence insulted by some squeaky sing-song TikTok voice pretending to be a person. In the world of e-commerce you should accept nothing less…
